Confused about which restaurant to visit? Fret not! 16-year-old restaurant nestled near the airport – The Great Kabab Factory is the perfect option to tease your palate with its flavoursome meal. The restaurant is as old as the Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza is and this ever popular chain is the mother of all TGKF around the world.
Parked in one of the corners of the hotel lobby, the restaurant offers different options every day. The diners are spoilt to the luxury of total 450 varieties of kababs served alternatively on each day. The chefs spell their magic by cooking the food in seven different styles – roasted on tandoor or on a singhri, shallow-fried in a tawa or a mahi tawa, deep-fried in a kadhai, steamed in pots or grilled on a stone.
The interior of the restaurant gives you a feel of a factory setting done in an attractive manner. The overlooking swimming pool from the tall window panes, interactive open kitchen and dim lighting add to the overall dining experience.
There is a set menu of 6 kebabs served with an assortment of breads, curries, biryani and sweet delights. The culinary voyage begins with Subz Galouti Kabab, Harey Moong Ka Tikka, Amritsari Paneer Tikka, Dakshini Aloo, Mirch Dum Anari and Phaladhari Chaat. The melt-in-mouth Subz Galouti Kabab are worth asking for more whereas Harey Moong Ka Tikka is soft and succulent, Amritsari Paneer Tikka melts in mouth as soon as it enters and Dakshini Aloo, Mirch Dum Anari and Phaladhari Chaat are also worth trying. The starters are heavy and happily stuff your tummy, so Chattori Aunty suggests you to take a break and wash down your meal with their refreshing Masala Chaach.
Next on the table comes Subz Biryani. The aromatic spices added in the Subz Biryani doubles the urge to relish its flavours. It is not done yet! The main course is waiting to arrive on your table which comprises of Daal Factory, Daal Makhani and Mutter Paneer served with a variety of breads. Daal Factory makes you feel nostalgic as it tastes exactly same the way mom cooks it at home. The balanced blend of spices in Daal Makhani and Mutter Paneer will force you to take a second serving.
They have a variety of Indian sweet dishes to tickle your sweet buds – Tinka Kulfi, Malai Chaap, Boondi Ki Phirni, Balushahi and Jalebi with Rabri. Out of all Tinka Kulfi and Jalebi with Rabri are must recommended.
